About Us

Welcome, we are the Catholic youth of the Diocese of Hamilton in Bermuda. Catholic Youth Ministry is the experience of youth and adults gathering together to learn about each other and to learn from each other in a Catholic Community setting in order to grow in faith. Sometimes we are just having fun being together or learning about our Faith or helping others or praying.

There are six Catholic parishes in the Diocese. Each one has a Youth Ministry Coordinator who works with the parish Youth Leadership Team to meet the needs of the parish youth.

Br. Ed Benson, C.R., the Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Hamilton in Bermuda is presently facilitating the development of the Parish Based Comprehensive Youth Ministry program in the six Catholic parish communities in the Diocese of Hamilton in Bermuda. Br. Ed, taught, coached, counseled, and did administration in four different Catholic high schools in Ontario, Canada for 35 years. After retiring from secondary education ministry, he was the Director of Resurrection Centre, an adult education resources office in Waterloo, Ontario. He also facilitated faith and ministry skills development in Burlington, Ontario. Br. Ed has a M.Ed. and a M.P.S.
